Is there anything more perfect than a small jelly jar with cut flowers from your garden sitting on the kitchen table? I can’t express how much I am enjoying the fruits of my labor from last summer and fall. The flower beds that were new and small last year are tall and grown together this year. Perfect.

I’ve decided to start a 365 project using the camera on my cell phone and the apps available for it. I’m not doing any external editing. This is to help me get my creative photography mojo back. I thought it would be nice to look for things around me daily and use the limitations of the camera on my phone to make me get a little more creative to make it interesting.

‘Roid Week Wrap-up

This was the first year that I participated in ‘Roid Week on flickr and I’m in Polaroid love. My little sx-70 is one of the cheaper cameras and doesn’t have some of the bells and whistles of some other models so my images came out pretty unpredictable. Sometimes that worked to my advantage and others not so much, but I got a few that I’m happy with. I had been in a slump when it came to my photography for a while and now I’m feeling the creative wheels turning again. I’m excited about that.

Here are some of my favorites taken by others. I’m so inspired by these!
